Can temporary residents of quebec participate ?

I saw that the rules said residents of a quebec can not participate , i am not a permanent resident of quebec, nor do i hold a permanent residence in canada ,can i participate ?

    Hey Kiran, residences from Quebec are ineligible because of local competition laws. If you are only visiting and won't be living in Quebec the entire contest, then you may still be eligible. Sorry for any inconvenience.

    Thanks for the reply . I came across this fairly recent discussion on one of devpost's other challenge , https://fbmessaging1.devpost.com/forum_topics/33397-quebec-resident-standard,
    The answer for the question there says , that as long as you are not a legal resident of quebec , you can participate,
    Any chance that you would be able to verify whether that is applicable to this challenge as well ?

    Can you email me at michelle@devpost.com to chat about your residency status off of the public forum? To further investigate your project eligibility we'll need to know what your permanent residency is, if you have any work/student visas for Quebec, and how long you will be there.
